    Requirements<\/h3>

    • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments for residents in nursing homes and long\-term care settings<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Manage ongoing psychiatric care, including follow\-up visits and medication oversight<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Identify and treat a range of behavioral health conditions commonly seen in the elderly population<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Initiate and adjust psychiatric medications based on clinical presentation and response to treatment<\/span>

    • Develop and implement individualized care strategies tailored to each resident\u2019s needs<\/span>

    • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, medical providers, social services, and facility leadership<\/span>

      Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

      • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)<\/span>

      • Active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license<\/span>

      • DEA registration or ability to obtain<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Prior experience in geriatric psychiatry, long\-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred<\/span>

      • Experience managing dementia\-related behaviors, chronic psychiatric conditions, and complex medication regimens is highly desirable<\/span>
