Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Psychiatric Access Team (PAC), providing both telehealth and in-person care to a diverse community of individuals seeking medication evaluations and ongoing support for psychiatric conditions. Salary for this role.
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Fewer than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on years of licensure and company equity.
- Annually, $122,595.20 - $156,145.60
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. Employees who successfully pass a language assessment are eligible to receive bilingual differential pay. This differential is provided as a fixed amount of $3,000 per calendar year, paid on a bi‑weekly basis across 26 pay periods, and prorated based on hire date and full‑time equivalency (FTE). Eligibility and payment are subject to the language requirements of the position and the employee’s demonstrated proficiency in the language.
Schedule. We are a hiring full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and have flexible schedules including 4-, and 5-day workweeks. We have a hybrid work schedule where you can enjoy working remotely 1 day a week.
Essential Functions:
- Provide direct psychiatric services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of patients assigned, on a regular basis. As within the State outlined scope of practice.
- Assure clinicians in assigned services receive appropriate clinical supervision, as necessary.
- Work with multidisciplinary staff to evaluate and triage according to level of acuity, as needed.
- Share 24-hour on call responsibilities with other psychiatrists for residential, outpatient and emergency care, as assigned.
- Maintain availability by telephone for face-to-face evaluation of emergency patients, as appropriate.
- Provide utilization review of all patients in continuing care to ensure appropriate medical/psychiatric services are received, as needed.
- Attend team and other meetings, as necessary.
- Provide consultation with staff on patient care and difficult cases, as needed.
- Understand and comply with organizational goals around quality, compliance, standards, and policies.
- Complete required education and training in a timely manner.
- Accurately and completely document patient care. Provide information to credentialing, payroll, etc. in a timely manner
- Monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the client's care team.
