Job Description Summary
Responsible for finance trading activities (Products from Manufacturing Units to External customers and inclusive of Local Scope such as E&C, Eng…) . Providing strong financial planning, analysis and reporting of the financials to the Business Line Region & Head quarter as well as ESY HQ. Driving technical accounting compliance, Ops. Mechanism, financial and operational internal controls.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Own the finance activities for the trading subregional scope, which includes but not limited to closing, monitoring project and Sales Order creations (Supported by the ITO to OTR COE Team & control accuracy on Data), backlog reconciliation (Drive accuracy of Backlog closing data from a Volume & Unit standpoint as well as correct margin converting in the income statement & ensure right burning schedule reported into the ERP, Provide analytics on the ageing and product mix Local scope vs Import, ,Be proactive & challenge on bank guarantees issuance on time and closing follow up to ensure right level of debt is kept in GEV Balance sheet; Report actual results to site and region leadership in timely manner adopting and leveraging automated central reporting)
- Lead and coordinate with region on quarterly Project Reviews, reviewing operational performance (Ensure that the right Ops. Mech are in place in the Sub region to 1. Drive operational performance in coordination and partnership with the operation team 2. Work out with COE team on ensuring analytics and reports are provided to support business and operational Discussions & fast decision making 3. Propose and support enhancement of local processes, drive simplification and spread lean mindset
- Ensure consistence communication on the revenue and billing forecast lead by PT HQ, coordinate with local teams and support the region on resolution of disputes (Revenue, CM and billing). Be a strong partner with Local/Regional operation team and Regional Finance team to ensure execution of centralized trading forecast. Be number one partner with the Head Quarter and Key contributors of resolutions of disconnections. Propose and support enhancement of local processes, drive simplification and spread continuous improvement mindset.
- Provide guidance to team members, and other company departments. Be number one Key connector in the subregion organization and throughout all departments. Lead with principles.
- Mentorship in the development of other team members in the Finance organization. Learn & Share. Propose & implement. Drive & execute. Work as one collaborative team to seek always the best for the business and the organization.
- Support for the integration and implementation of new procedures: ITO Order Booking & OTR Billing team as well as do not hesitate to propose enhancement.
- Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insight to drive improvements. Be a strong partner with Local/Regional operation team and Regional Finance team to ensure execution. Be number one partner with the Head Quarter and Key contributors of resolutions of disconnections. Propose and support enhancement of local processes, drive simplification and spread lean mindset
- Support in the interaction and communication with the region leaders in the forecast, finance reviews etc & Develop relationship with different stakeholders (Leadership team, Operations and other Finance functions)
- Get the opportunity to be a key member next with the local Management committee. Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
- Lead and Support the account reconciliation process for the Power transmission business line, ensuring accounts are prepared, submitted & reviewed on time. That aged and/or unreconciled item are laid out with structured actions plan timely managed to close. Be a gate keep keeper of the balance sheet reporting supporting regional balance sheet reviews. Maintain a clean ledger on the balance sheet in all operational & non-operational accounts in your scope such as ECA, CTC’s, AR, WIP, …
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of total experience in operations, project management, or service management, preferably in the power or utility sector.
- FMP graduate or minimum 3 years experience in finance role.
- In depth knowledge of SAP, Tableau.
- Fluent English.
