Public Area Supervisor (Saudi National)

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Public Area Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. This role is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of all public areas throughout the resort, ensuring they consistently reflect the luxury standards of the FAENA brand. The Public Area Supervisor will lead and support the Public Area Attendants, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction while creating memorable first impressions for guests and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Public Area team.
  • Ensure all public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest and back-of-house public areas.
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Train, coach, and support Public Area Attendants in cleaning procedures and service standards.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules and deep-cleaning programs are completed effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly.
  • Support VIP arrivals, special events, and seasonal activations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational priorities.
  • Assist with team scheduling, attendance monitoring, and workforce planning.
  • Handle guest requests and concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and operational departments to maintain exceptional public spaces.
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping, Public Area Operations, or a similar hospitality role preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
  • Good leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to organise workloads and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Positive attitude with a strong guest service mindset.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications is advantageous.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
