We're hiring a Public Cloud Assistant Infrastructure Engineer to join our Public Cloud Services Lab , supporting the design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud platforms across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your cloud engineering career , working alongside experienced engineers on automation, API-first services, and cloud-native platforms .
About the teamThe Public Cloud Services Lab delivers centrally managed cloud services focused on:
- Security, resilience, and scalability
- Infrastructure as Code and automation
- Platform engineering and developer enablement
- AI-driven efficiency and modern cloud tooling
We build reusable, easy-to-consume cloud platforms that help teams deliver and scale services quickly.
Key responsibilities*Assist in designing, building and operatingcloud infrastructure and platform capabilities
*Support delivery usingInfrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
*Help implementsecure-by-design principles across cloud environments
*Contribute toobservability, monitoring, and performance optimisation
*Supportincident management and root cause analysis for live cloud systems
*EnableAPI-first delivery through reusable patterns and integration tooling
*Work with engineers and architects to evolvecloud platforms and services
*Contribute todocumentation and knowledge sharing across the team
*Experience or exposure tocloud platforms (Azure, GCP or AWS)
*Understanding ofInfrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and automation concepts
*Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
*Understanding ofcontainers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
*Scripting skills inPython, Bash or PowerShell
*Knowledge ofcloud fundamentals (compute, networking, identity & access management)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and desire to learn

- Cloud Load Balancing
- Cloud Armor
- Cloud Monitoring / Stackdriver
- API management (e.g. Apigee)
- CI/CD tooling (e.g. Harness, GitHub Actions)
- Monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Container tooling (Docker, Buildah, Podman)
*Exposure toNode.js or API tooling
*Relevantcloud certifications (Azure, GCP, AWS)
