Pump Technician
We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Pump Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves the assembly, repair, and servicing of pumps and related systems, as well as general shop support. Occasional travel to customer sites within the U.S. may be required.
We are looking for experienced technicians, but we are also willing to train motivated apprentices who have a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. Experience in HVAC, electrical work, or swimming pool maintenance and repair is highly valued and encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform various assembly, repair, and rebuilding processes using hand tools
- Disassemble, reassemble, service, and repair pumps
- Repair, replace, and upgrade electrical connections and wiring
- Cut, drill, and tap a variety of materials
- Fabricate various pump accessories and components
- Operate a forklift safely
- Travel occasionally to customer facilities for installation and troubleshooting
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general shop maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management
- Follow and promote safety procedures at all times
Benefits & Compensation
- Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
- Full-time position

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical training is a plus)
- Experienced pump, mechanical, or electrical technicians are strongly encouraged to apply
- We are also willing to train apprentices with a strong mechanical aptitude
- HVAC apprentice experience is welcome
- Electrician apprentice experience is welcome
- Swimming pool maintenance and pool equipment technician experience is welcome
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical or electrical assembly/repair experience preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Experience with pool pumps and sprinkler pump systems preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S.
Work Environment
- Work is primarily performed in an open-air warehouse
- Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Proper safety gear and hydration support are provided
