The roles are the following ones:<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Be the Purchasing for local capital / capex purchase, manage the\nRFQs, lead negotiations, contract with suppliers and develop new vendors and\nmanage their performance.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Be the single point of contact to the plant managers / operations head, ensure\nthe requirements are clearly understood technically and planning wise with\nclear understanding of the full production lines.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Deploy the Group purchasing strategy and contribute to the deployment of\nthe contracts which are negotiated by the Category Managers.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor the financial purchasing performance of the plants and track the\nbudgets of the lines and its cost escalation & savings.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Propose and manage regional or national purchasing synergies.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Be the guarantor of the continuous improvement of the purchasing process.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Understand production process and value add the lines by sourcing newer consumables\nto ensure either high productivity or cost savings.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with project and operations team and ensure the availability of materials\nin time to meet the demand and schedule of projects and production.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Oversee purchase department. Develop and implement procedures and policies\nfor the department.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>BE / B\-TECH in Engineering<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge of inventory management and vendor management.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in purchasing, in industrial or /and\nlaboratory purchase.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven financial management business performance;<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to promote best purchasing and procurement practices<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficiency with Ms\-Excel & SAP<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Value for money, compliance enforcement, prompt and transparent\nfinancial reporting.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability and willingness to understand the technical elements of the\ncategories<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Good analytical and problem\-solving ability.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong negotiation and communication skills both internally and\nexternally.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Desire to work in an organization where there is a culture of urgency,\npersonal accountability, and of striving \u2018to perform\u2019.<\/span>
