Parts Handler
What You Will Do:Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues and stakeholdersChampion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practicesVerify parts to ensure they are correct before assembling customer ordersAssist in stocking and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areasRe-stock shelves and move partsAssist customers when looking for partsMay assist with shipping and receivingMay assist with loading vehiclesOther duties as assigned
What We Require:
MUST HAVE 1 year of general warehouse experience or order picker experience using an RF Scanner or barcode gun.MUST BE ABLE to meet the physical requirements: Lift up to 75-100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers.High school diploma, GED or other high school equivalence certificateExcellent customer service skills – dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customersStrong written and verbal skills – ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleaguesBasic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systemsHeavy duty parts knowledge or background an assetValid class 5/G license with 3 years of Canadian driving experience an asset
