Purchaser

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for purchasing function
  • Prepare and issue POs to suppliers on a timely basis
  • Ensure that goods and services performed and delivered are in accordance with the issued POs
  • Work with suppliers and subcontractors on order requirements and delivery schedules
  • Work as a team with other departments to ensure orders are delivered on time
  • Source for alternative suppliers / vendors / subcontractors
  • Negotiate with suppliers/vendors to ensure the best costs effectiveness
  • Perform general administrative and data entry duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a GCE ‘O’ Level / Higher Nitec / Diploma or equivalent
  • Fresh graduate is welcome
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Possess good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a sense of priority, organized and meticulous
  • Positive attitude, self-driven, proactive, able to work independently, and hardworking
  • Possess initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
