Purchasing Coordinator - Temporary (3 months)
The Purchasing Coordinator will support three to four Buyers at any given time as well as the Purchasing Manager with vendor relationship activities. They own the end-to-end process of an order status, price list and delivery dates.
Responsibilities
- Review open order reports and unacknowledged reports daily and update dates as they change in SXE. As well as follow up on older orders.
- Manage tickets that are assigned based on vendor and buyer
- Responsible for the buyer’s POs; they are assigned 3 - 4 buyers and can get 5-6 tickets a day on normal. During peak that amount can double.
- Manage, and track confirmations, ASN, EDI as necessary
- Build a relationship and have strong communication with vendor, Buyer and Purchasing Manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience with Smartsheet preferred but not required
