Purchasing Executive

Job Description:

  • To conduct pre-qualification to shortlist qualifiedvendors to be invited for tenders.
  • Work closely with respective operations department toprepare tender documents, arrange tender briefing, and site show for invitationto tender.
  • Compile and evaluate tender submissions, includingprice analysis and quality assessment.
  • Conduct tender interviews, clarifications andnegotiation of pricing and contracted terms.
  • Prepare recommendation paper, ensuring timely approvaland award.
  • Issue contract agreement to awarded vendors.
  • For changes to contract – to raise variation forapproval and issue variation letter to vendor.
  • Creation of contract and change order in purchasingportal.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with groupprocurement policies and SOPs.
  • Any other procurement and contract management relatedtasks which may be assigned.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor,carrying them out diligently and professionally


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business /Purchasing
  • Good communication andwriting skills
  • Proficient in MicrosoftExcel, Words and Power Point
  • Knowledge in SAP
