Jouw rol

Als Purchasing Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het end-to-end beheer van verbruiksartikelen en verpakkingsmaterialen binnen het distributiecentrum.

Je speelt een sleutelrol in het waarborgen van operationele continuïteit en fungeert als schakel tussen leveranciers, Procurement, Finance en Operations.

Dit is een hands-on, operationele rol met directe impact op kosten, efficiëntie en leveranciersprestaties.

Wat ga je doen?

Procurement & Operations

• Beheren van de inkoop van verbruiksartikelen en verpakkingsmaterialen voor het distributiecentrum

• Zorgen voor beschikbaarheid van materialen om de dagelijkse operatie te ondersteunen

• Aanmaken en beheren van Purchase Orders in COUPA

• Monitoren van verbruik, forecasten van vraag en beheren van voorraadniveaus

• Waarborgen van correcte prijzen, volumes en voorwaarden

Leveranciersmanagement

• Eerste aanspreekpunt voor leveranciers voor dagelijkse operationele zaken

• Oplossen van leveringsproblemen, kwaliteitsissues en afwijkingen

• Monitoren van leveranciersprestaties en ondersteunen bij onboarding

Cost Control & Reporting

• Opvolgen van spend, verbruik en PO-status

• Ondersteunen bij factuurcontroles en oplossen van afwijkingen met Finance

• Waarborgen van correcte data in systemen

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Werken volgens VF procurement policies en procedures

• Zorgen voor gebruik van goedgekeurde leveranciers (geen maverick buying)

• Signaleren van kostenbesparingen en procesverbeteringen

• Bijhouden van documentatie voor audits en controles

Sustainability

• Ondersteunen bij het verzamelen van data rond verpakking en afval

• Bijdragen aan duurzaamheidsinitiatieven binnen het DC

Wat breng jij mee

• Ervaring in procurement, supply chain of operations (bij voorkeur in een DC- of logistieke omgeving)

• Affiniteit met systemen (COUPA is een plus)

• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en stakeholdermanagement

• Analytisch vermogen en oog voor detail

• Zelfstandig kunnen werken in een dynamische omgeving

• Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal

Purchasing Specialist – DC Operations (Almelo)

Your Role

As a Purchasing Specialist, you will own the end-to-end management of consumables and packaging materials within the DC.

You will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, acting as the link between suppliers, Procurement, Finance and Operations.

This is a hands-on, operational role with a direct impact on cost, efficiency and supplier performance.

What You Will Do

Procurement & Operations

• Manage purchasing of consumables and packaging materials for the DC

• Ensure material availability to support daily operations

• Create and manage Purchase Orders in COUPA

• Monitor usage, forecast demand, and maintain appropriate stock levels

• Ensure accuracy on pricing, quantities and terms

Supplier Management

• Act as main point of contact for suppliers on day-to-day operations

• Resolve delivery issues, quality concerns and discrepancies

• Monitor supplier performance and support onboarding

Cost Control & Reporting

• Track spend, consumption and PO status

• Support invoice checks and resolve discrepancies with Finance

• Maintain accurate data in procurement systems

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure adherence to VF procurement policies

• Work with approved suppliers and avoid off-contract purchasing

• Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities

• Maintain documentation for audits and controls

Sustainability

• Support tracking of packaging and waste data

• Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the DC

What You Bring

• Experience in procurement, supply chain or operations (ideally in a DC or logistics environment)

• Comfortable working with systems (COUPA is a plus)

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

• Good command of English
