QA Automation Engineer (Cross-border Payments)

About the role
You'll help ensure quality and reliability across cross-border payment systems by building automated coverage for critical financial workflows and integrations.
What you'll work on

  • Cross-border payment flows and integrations that support international money movement.

  • API-driven services and backend systems responsible for transaction processing and execution.

  • Automated quality coverage for business-critical financial workflows.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Design, maintain, and execute test cases for cross-border payment services and integrations.

  • Build, maintain, and expand automated test coverage for critical business scenarios.

  • Validate APIs, backend services, and end-to-end transaction flows.

  • Analyze test results, investigate defects, and clearly communicate findings to the team.

  • Contribute to test strategy, automation approaches, and quality assurance practices.

  • Work closely with Developers and DevOps teams to improve testing tools, environments, and delivery quality.

What we need

  • 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or a similar role.

  • Experience with API manual and automation testing using Java or Kotlin.

  • Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.

  • Experience testing applications for financial institutions, including investment banks, brokers, exchanges, or other financial platforms.

  • Ability to describe complex defects, issues, and edge cases in a clear and concise way.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to have

  • Experience testing payment processing systems or money transfer products.

  • Experience working with distributed systems and service integrations.

  • Understanding of financial transaction lifecycles and settlement processes.
