QA Engineer

About Us

Monaire is building the infrastructure layer for intelligent commercial HVAC. We combine on-device sensors, smart thermostats, and machine-learning systems to automate control, surface real operational insight, and materially reduce energy waste at scale.

This is not offline modeling or notebook ML. Models run in production, interact with physical systems, and must be observable, debuggable, and correct. The platform spans edge devices, cloud services, streaming pipelines, control logic, and ML inference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test requirement analysis, Test planning, and Test automation for all the features under development within the team
  • Maintaining and updating the Test Automation Framework as per the need for project feature development work
  • Keeping track of the quality process as defined for all the release work of the team
  • Participation in Design and architecture discussions
  • Capability to troubleshoot and debug external and internal issues.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex systems and technical issues
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent Review skills for the work of peers in a wider-quality engineering organization

Requirements

Must have Skills

  • 3-8 years of technical experience in Quality Engineering and Customer Support.
  • Strong hands-on experience usingPython for Test Automation.
  • Hands-on experience in Automation Framework Development / Maintenance.
  • Experience in Test Planning, Integration, Functional and Regression test cases from the requirements
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge / Experience with Cloud-based platforms and technologies
  • Experience / Understanding of Perf Tests
  • Experience with Test Coverage Tools and analysis.
  • Experience with other scripting languages likePython, Shell scripting, groovy, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams

Good to have skills

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD deployments.
  • Knowledge ofCloud IoT-based platforms.
  • Understanding of build process and automation.
  • Experience working on Jenkins

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in CS/IT from a premier institute
