QA / Technical Executive

Responsibilities

- Preparation, updating, and monitoring of vessel manuals and plans, including:

  • Ballast Water Management Plan (BWMP)
  • Garbage Management Plan (GMP)
  • Vessel Response Plans (VRPs) and Non-Tank Vessel Response Plans (NTVRPs)
  • Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP) and Shipboard Marine Pollution Emergency Plan (SMPEP)

- Monitor vessel audit status, vetting status, inspection schedules, and maintain related records.

- Prepare and coordinate all documentation required for newly taken-over vessels and fleet additions.

- Update and maintain vessel Key Performance Indicator (KPI) records.

- Update and maintain vessel training records and monitor compliance with training requirements.

- Assist in collecting, consolidating, and monitoring weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from vessels.

- Assist the QA Documentation Manager in maintaining the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) documentation and records.

- Coordinate the dispatch of documents, manuals, publications, certificates, and parcels to vessels through approved courier services.

- Assist in vessel insurance matters, including:

  • Maintaining vessel insurance records.
  • Monitoring validity and renewal dates of insurance certificates.
  • Coordinating with insurers, brokers, Owners, and relevant departments on insurance-related documentation.Assisting with insurance claims administration and supporting documentation when required.
  • Assist in the preparation of Management Review, QAC, TMSA, and other compliance-related reports.

- Assist in the preparation of Management Review, QAC, TMSA, and other compliance-related reports.

- Ensure proper filing, document control, and record management in accordance with Company procedures.

- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Head of Quality Assurance & Vetting.
