Job Description:

Your Role

We are looking for a candidate who is an expert in Automation and Performance testing activities and interested in pursuing an exciting and enriching career in the Retail Domain.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working in an Agile environment, writing user stories, creating product backlogs, prioritizing work, and performing story acceptance.
  • Participate in the vision, design, and implementation of quality products.
  • Bridge the gap between our product management team and engineering, distilling high level requirements into actionable plans that our expert developers can execute on.
  • Work with engineering teams to produce delivery estimates for new features and products.
  • Work with the Technical Product Managers from other R&D teams to manage dependencies.
  • Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions.
  • Automation Tool Framework development and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain automated software tests, unit tests.
  • Code Review and Optimization of the automated tests.
  • Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.

Expertise and Knowledge:

  • Develop automated scripts in Playwright & JMeter. Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing.
  • Experience with Scrum and agile processes is required
  • Gather Performance Testing Requirements and conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with technical and business professionals at every level.
  • Object oriented design and development experience, integration with enterprise applications and systems/APIs (Java/REST/SOAP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS EC2, Azure), REST, Typescript, HTTP, and networking is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or knowledge with PLM or FlexPLM products.
  • Experience or knowledge for Automation Testing Frameworks

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum 6-8 years working in an enterprise software development delivery role.

  • FlexPLM team need a QA Technical lead who will work for FlexPLM product and bring a user perspective to the design of our products, ensuring that we deliver products that our customers want to use.

FlexPLM team is a young and dynamic team of software engineers with average exp. Of around 10 years and the candidate will be a great fit to this team and overall PTC

Your Day-to-Day

  • This member will be expected to: Manage team backlogs, detailed requirements, and work with Agile teams at global R&D centers to deliver quality solutions.
  • Participate in the vision, design, and implementation of quality products.
  • Bring a user perspective to the design of our products, ensuring that we deliver products that our customers want to use.
  • Bridge the gap between our product management team and engineering teams to distill high level requirements into actionable plans that our expert developers can execute on.
  • Work with the project management office and the release management teams on the release management process and reporting.
  • Work with the Technical Product Managers from other R&D teams to manage dependencies.
  • Become an expert on our products.
  • Support internal training for new products and features.
  • Continue to upgrade technical and personal skills through internal and external training
