The QA Tester role is a great opportunity for someone looking for their first role in the Gaming industry.
Salary: £25,750.00
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Chadderton
Fully onsite role, 5 days a week
What You'll Do:
Contribute to the development and enhancement of engaging gaming experiences, bringing your passion for games into everything you do
Run functional, performance, usability, and compliance testing on gaming products and platform updates across UK and international markets
Identify, reproduce, and report issues clearly and accurately to support product quality and improvements
Update existing test cases and suggest new ones where appropriate
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases
Share feedback, insights, and ideas to improve workflows, processes, and overall product experience
Support different teams across the business as needed, contributing to a collaborative, team-first culture
Take ownership of your work while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
What you'll bring
A genuine passion for gaming and curiosity about how great player experiences are created
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and findings
A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach with confidence to work independently
Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and adjust to changing priorities
A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly
Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
An understanding (or early exposure) to testing methodologies, QA processes, or the software development lifecycle is beneficial, but not essential
How You'll Grow
Gain hands-on experience in QA testing within the gaming industry, building your understanding of testing methodologies and the full development lifecycle
Develop strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills by working closely with experienced teams on real products
Use this 10-month fixed-term contract as a foundation to launch or progress your career in QA, gaming, or tech

An enthusiasm for gaming is required for this role
