This is a unique opportunity to build a hands-on trade that combines craftsmanship, attention to detail and precision engineering, helping shape the internal look and feel of our aircraft.
As part of our specialist workshop team, you’ll work on the interior of our aircraft cabins, contributing to the comfort, safety and overall customer experience. You’ll learn how to manufacture, repair and install aircraft fabrics, trims and furnishings, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards.
From seating and cabin materials to interior finishes, your work will directly influence how our aircraft looks and feels for millions of customers each year. This is a great fit for those who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in high-quality finishes and have an eye for detail.
Our workshop environment gives you the opportunity to develop deep technical skills using specialised tools, equipment and materials, supported by experienced tradespeople. You’ll be part of a team that values precision, quality and craftsmanship, working on projects where no two days are the same.
Our four-year apprenticeship combines formal training with our RTO partners, in-house learning and hands-on experience. You’ll build strong technical capability, gain exposure to different materials and techniques, and develop into a qualified tradesperson in a highly specialised field.

You’ll have –
- A strong interest in hands-on work, with a focus on detail and quality finishes
- Good manual dexterity and confidence using a range of hand tools
- An eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- A proactive attitude and commitment to learning and applying safe work practices
- The drive and enthusiasm to build a long-term career in aviation
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Availability to commence from early 2027
