QC Tech/ Quality Control (Bilingual in Spanish)

This is a full-time position, fully onsite 5 days a week. Schedule: 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect samples from production lines on a regular basis to meet different preset requirements on different tests

  • Perform inspection and CCP checkups on in process products

  • Perform final inspection of product including but not limited to review for completeness, label check, weight check, and visual inspection of final product

  • Inspect various incoming products and raw materials. Identify and control non-conforming materials

  • Assist with document control including organize, file and review QA documents

  • Assist with pre-operational process

  • Address any questions and concerns on food safety and quality assurance with QA management in a timely manner

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Pay: $19-$21/hour.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in QC role or a fast paced food manufacturing environment prefered

  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment

  • Ability to do basic mathematical calculations

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

  • Ability to work flexible schedule depending on operational needs

  • Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

  • Physical requirements include frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; For instances when an employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs they must work in teams of two or use the proper equipment and tools for the job/task at hand. Ability to walk and stand for at least 2 hours or more; exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, etc.
