QMS and Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

  • Maintain, monitor, and continuously improve the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and internal procedures
  • Plan, coordinate, and support internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits, including preparation, execution, reporting, follow-up, and timely closure of audit findings
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including issue containment, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and effectiveness verification
  • Monitor quality performance indicators, analyze trends, and prepare reports to support management review, risk reduction, and continual improvement initiatives
  • Support document control, engineering change management, calibration activities, and compliance-related processes to ensure effective implementation and control
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and supplier teams to investigate, resolve, and prevent quality-related issues
  • Conduct supplier audits in accordance with the approved audit plan and follow through on required corrective actions and improvement opportunities
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the calibration program to ensure equipment compliance and measurement reliability
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing product quality, process efficiency, supplier performance, and operational effectiveness
  • Provide quality-related training, guidance, and support to employees to strengthen awareness, ownership, and compliance with QMS requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality Management System standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485; knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 is an advantage
  • Practical knowledge of calibration processes, audit practices, document control, engineering change control, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, and structured root cause analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
