Quantity Surveyor (Interior Fit-out)

Job Summary

Prepare and manage tender estimates, Bills of Quantities, and contract documentation for interior fit-out projects. Oversee pre- and post-contract activities including cost monitoring, site valuation, and verifying subcontractor claims. Collaborate effectively with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender estimates and Bills of Quantities (BQ) to support accurate project costing and supplier selection
• Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
• Assist in awarding contracts by reviewing contract documents for compliance and completeness
• Manage pre-contract activities including cost planning and procurement coordination
• Oversee post-contract activities such as monitoring material and construction costs, site valuation, variation orders, and final accounts to ensure project budget adherence
• Verify claims submitted by subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain financial accuracy
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications to document and report project progress and financial status

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9.00 AM - 6.00 PM
• Saturday: 9.00 AM - 1.00 PM

• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
