QS Engineer

  • Review BOQ based on drawings and technical specifications for project cost estimation.

  • Prepare unit price analysis (AHS/AHSP) and quantity take\-off from tender/construction drawings.

  • Evaluate contractor/vendor quotations from technical and commercial perspectives.
    <\/li>
  • Conduct price clarification and negotiation to achieve project budget targets.
    <\/li>
  • Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout project execution.
    <\/li>
  • Verify work progress and payment claims for contractor billing certification.
    <\/li>
  • Prepare and manage project documents including BOQ, VO, addendum, certificates, and handover reports.
    <\/li>
  • Ensure contract, drawing, RFI, MOM, approval, and correspondence documentation is properly maintained.
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, engineering, site, tender, finance, legal) for project support.
    <\/li>
  • Track project schedules and follow up action items from meetings.
    <\/li>
  • Prepare cost reports, cash flow updates, tender status, and project administration reports.
    <\/li>
  • Support tender processes, vendor evaluation, and contractor appointment.
    <\/li>
  • Review project variations/addendums to ensure compliance with contracts and specifications.
    <\/li>
  • Maintain structured filing systems for both physical and digital project records.
    <\/li>
  • Recommend cost optimization and value engineering opportunities to management.

    Requirements<\/h3>
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering.
    <\/li>
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Survey, Cost Control, Tender, and Project Administration.
    <\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, AHS/AHSP, tendering processes, contractor negotiation, contract administration, progress billing, VO/addendum, and project cost control.
    <\/li>
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.
    <\/li>
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and AutoCAD; knowledge of QS software such as Cubicost is an advantage.
    <\/li>
  • Excellent accuracy in managing project costs and administrative documentation.
    <\/li>
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast\-paced project environment.
