QSEO Digital Portfolio Lead

Position Summary:

This role provides strategic & operational leadership for QSEO digital portfolios and digital capital projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and maximizing value delivery. This role drives governance, prioritization, and lifecycle tracking across initiatives, partnering with business process owners and digital product owners to enable transformation and operational excellence.

The Portfolio lead is accountable for Digital project intake, endorsement, deployment planning, communication, value tracking and general QSEO digital program facilitation, in partnership with the respective GPO and Digital creation center lead.

The role is also responsible for coordination of annual Digital budget planning and endorsement, and for QSEO Digital Governance facilitation.

Duties may be adjusted based on the group’s requirements and needs.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Key Strategic Responsibilities:

· Portfolio Governance & Strategy

o Implement and maintain the QSEO digital portfolio management framework, including intake, strategic review, governance endorsement, and value lifecycle tracking.

o Align business process owners and digital product owners to portfolio priorities and execution plans.

o Develop, communicate and monitor Digital deployment plans

o Implement holistic program and portfolio management tooling (e.g. Amplify, ITRM) with PGS process alignment.

o Leverage AI to expedite the portfolio management process.

· Capital & Digital Project Oversight

o Support development of QSEO Digital assessments and business case development, aligned with the PGS value guide.

o Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards across all initiatives.

o Formalize the QSEO resource determination and reallocation process for the portfolio.

· Decision Support & Value Delivery

o Facilitate governance forums for intake triage, investment decisions and prioritization.

o Monitor portfolio health, risks, and performance metrics to optimize resource allocation.

o Define and communicate RACI and decision-making improvements to expedite Digital assessments and value delivery.

· Stakeholder Engagement

o Advise senior leadership, providing insights on portfolio performance and value realization.

o Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive alignment and accountability.

o Triage site demand inputs from across the PGS network.

o Expand oversight of digital adoption and feedback loops on adoption blockers.

o Refine the enterprise/site digital decision making, prototyping and delivery framework.

Key Tactical Responsibilities:

· Digital Strategy Deployment

o Coordinate execution of enterprise digital strategies, including planning and coordination for large-scale global deployments.

o Ensure alignment of digital initiatives with business objectives and operational readiness.

o Development of cross-process deployment roadmaps

· Cross-Disciplinary Process Harmonization

o Support efforts to drive process and data standards across multiple functions, processes and Digital applications.

o Facilitate configuration alignment at business level to support integrated ways of working.

· Content Development & Executive Communication

o Report on Digital deployment, adoption and value realization metrics

o Prepare governance decks, workshop summaries, and executive presentations to support decision-making forums.

o Collaborate with functional leaders to curate and synthesize updates for senior stakeholders.

Role may include business travel to other Pfizer locations.

Basic Qualifications

· Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of relevant experience

· Proficient in project/program management methodologies

· Expertise in digital portfolio frameworks and capital project governance.

· Experience of Operational Excellence improvement and delivery

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective viewpoints or presentations to a variety of audiences.

· Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

· Good awareness of Quality Management System regulations

· Experience of enterprise system validation/compliance/ deployment and good knowledge of Pfizer Digital life cycle methodologies (S/ADLC)

· Experience of computer system/business process ownership.

· Command of the English language

· Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.

· Skilled in negotiation, change management, and conflict resolution.

· Demonstrates adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.

· Ability to work within tight timeframes and respond to changing requirements.

· Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management and colleagues.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Competency in MS Office and other portfolio/analytics tools (e.g. MS Project Tableau, BI).

· Experience of data analytics, statistics and Artificial Intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience of software development, SAFE/Agile methodologies, validation, risk management and delivery.

· Experience of Data science/engineering.

· Fluency in Artificial Intelligence and usage in regulated environments

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
