Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team—someone with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and creative ideas that make a difference.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy and Materials Engineering),

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process quality assurance (service quality experience is a plus),

  • Strong command of English (both written and spoken),

  • Proven ability to analyze quality data, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA),

  • Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis, etc.),

  • Experience with FMEA (DFMEA & PFMEA) and general quality assurance methodologies,

  • Knowledge of quality cost analysis is an asset,

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications,

  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and reporting skills,

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a multicultural environment,

  • Preferably experience in team leadership or supervisory roles within a quality function,

  • Open to domestic and international travel,

  • Residing on the Asian side of İstanbul or Kocaeli (Gebze, Darıca, Çayırova),

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably heating systems, pressure vessels, or similar industries).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain control plans and quality inspection instructions in line with applicable standards and regulations,

  • Support new product development (NPD) activities by collaborating with Production, Supplier Development, and R&D teams,

  • Participate in DFMEA and PFMEA studies, track action items, and ensure timely closure,

  • Analyze quality performance data and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA),

  • Monitor and report field performance and customer feedback, including product and non-product related issues,

  • Lead root cause analysis and support resolution of field and in-house quality issues,

  • Ensure execution of in-process and final quality controls in ,accordance with control plans,

  • Collaborate with the Management Representative on quality management systems (ISO standards, internal audits, etc.),

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and definition of process quality standards,

  • Support and organize training activities for quality technicians to enhance process effectiveness,

  • Drive digitalization of quality control processes,

  • Prepare and present quality reports to relevant stakeholders

  • Knowledge of WCM (World Class Manufacturing), Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies,

  • Experience in supplier quality or project quality management

  • Familiarity with NPD (New Product Development) processes and stage-gate methodologies.
