Quality Assurance Engineer
Quality Assurance Engineer, Product Strategy
Quality doesn’t happen by accident — it takes someone who is methodical, curious, and genuinely invested in getting it right. Credigy’s Product Strategy team is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who brings that mindset to every test case, every production workflow, and every stakeholder conversation. In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of technology and business, ensuring that the systems our teams depend on perform exactly as they should. If you’re energized by the challenge of untangling complex processes, catching issues before they become problems, and building quality into the fabric of how we work, this role was built for you.
Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Credigy, you’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and business teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and integrity of our most critical applications and data workflows. You’ll own production support processes end-to-end — from triaging and routing service tickets to auditing SQL updates and tracing process logic through downstream systems. Success in this role means fewer surprises in production, faster feedback loops for the business, and a QA practice that’s always improving. You’ll bring strong technical instincts and even stronger communication skills, because great quality assurance means being as comfortable talking to a business stakeholder as reading through stored procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and audit production SQL updates; maintain and troubleshoot complex stored procedures to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Triage, route, and monitor service tickets in Jira Service Management; refine automation rules as needed to keep workflows running smoothly.
- Partner closely with business users to translate their needs into technical tasks and close the feedback loop with speed and clarity.
- Perform functional QA testing across new and existing systems, document results thoroughly, and uphold release quality at every stage.
- Trace processes from origin through downstream systems, reading application code and SQL stored procedures to understand system behavior and surface improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of scalable QA practices, test-case frameworks, and process documentation that the team can build on over time.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in production support, business/operations systems, or a similar role — financial services or fintech background preferred.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including writing and optimizing queries, auditing production data updates, and troubleshooting stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience configuring workflows in Jira Service Management or a comparable ITSM platform.
- Ability to read and follow application code (e.g., Python, C#, TypeScript) well enough to debug logic and trace data flow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication and comfort interfacing with non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and test-case design principles.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- ITIL, Agile, or comparable certifications.
- Experience working in specialty finance, fintech, or similar data-intensive environments.
The Credigy Experience

You’ll also have access to a 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, paid parental leave, volunteer time off through Credigy Cares, and a range of workplace perks designed to support how you work best — from a thoughtfully equipped office environment to the technology and tools that help you do your best work. Beyond the benefits, you’ll join a team recognized year-over-year as a Top Workplace nationally and in Atlanta, with a personalized Flex Werk program, real opportunities for career growth, and a culture built around people who are bold, curious, and supportive.
A Note to Applicants
If this role excites you, but you don’t check every box, we encourage you to apply. We value curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative spirit just as much as direct experience.
