Responsibilities
- Steer for a robust, dependable automated test environment
- Own legacy and stable regression suites
- Help feature team with issues related to the regression and automation environment
- Follow up on issues detected effectively either with feature team for test issues, design team for caveats/bugs noticed in the product
Interaction / Work Environment
- Close interaction with feature test and infrastructure teams
- Interaction with Software design team (for issues noticed)
Position Description
- Work towards an efficient and clean test regression environment by limiting the number of false positive and false negative results seen in automated tests
- Dive-in existing test code, detect and narrow down the issues by analyzing test logs and results
