The MSF OCA Logistics Department ensures the\ninternational supply chain \- and provides logistics and technical support to\nthe MSF\-OCA medical humanitarian programs conducted\nin the various project countries.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span>The OCA The logistics Department consists of 4 core units, including the European Supply\nCentre \- Amsterdam Procurement Unit (ESC\-APU), the Field Support Unit (FSU \-\nOperational Logistics, Technical Logistics & Field Supply Chain Management),\nthe End\-To\-End Supply Chain Excellence Unit (E2ESC), and newly established\nQuality Assurance & GDP\-Compliance Unit (QACU). ESC\-APU is responsible for\nsourcing, procurement and processing the orders for supplies from some 26\nproject countries in accordance with Service Level Agreements. The FSU includes\na wing centered around supporting the country programs in terms of Operational\nLogistics and Field Supply Support and a wing focused on Technical Logistics\nsupport. The E2ESC Unit ensures pertinence and facilitates continuous\nimprovement of the End\-to\-End Supply Chain performance, <\/span><\/span>strategies, processes and practices. QACU ensures <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>that MSF\-OCA meets the applicable regulatory requirements and notably\nthose in relation to the Good Distribution Practices (GDP) guidelines as a licensed\nwholesale distributor of medicines and medical products, and is responsible\nfor <\/span><\/span><\/span>the organization\u2019s quality management framework\nand expertise on quality assurance of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and specialized\nfood products throughout the supply chain. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span>This\nposition will play a key role in contributing to the achievement of the MSF\nSouth Asia Supply Hub (SASH) strategy.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • You validate sources\nof supply in compliance with international standards and the MSF Qualification\nScheme<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • You maintain the various databases, ensuring product\nand supplier information, technical documentation and validation status is\naccurate.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • You monitor and evaluate the quality of pharmaceuticals\nproducts / medical devices to be delivered to the country programs ensuring\nadequate documentation and adherence to the relevant procedures and policies.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • You provide expert advice and technical support to\nfacilitate the procurement and supply chain processes and you keep yourself\neducated with legislation in the various areas of your expertise.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • You are a member of the OCA Quality Assurance team in\nQACU and work in coordination with stakeholders in the OCA Logistics and Public\nHealth Departments, and with respective International Office QA Coordination teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Validated sources of\nsupply (products\-supplies/manufacturer combinations) in compliance with\nregulatory directives and MSF standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Technical and QA related documentation of procured\nmedicines/ medical devices, maintenance of the associated databases and\nmanuals.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Advice and support to tactical procurement specialists\nregarding sourcing strategies.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Advice and support to GDP Responsible Person in\nrelation to non\-conformities and quality alerts /recalls.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Quality of documentation accompanying delivered\npharmaceutical products/ medical devices of selected suppliers or purchase\norders. (e.g., packing list, certificate of analysis).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Manufacturer audit results (in concentration with/ as\nrequested by the MSF IO).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Participation in intersectional projects agreed by MSF\-OCA.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Willingness/readiness\nto travel inside of India and to different locations abroad.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>At\nleast 8 years of total experience with minimum 5 years of working experience in\na pharmaceutical domain industry with international pharmaceutical distribution\nin a comparative setting (in terms of size and complexity of operations and\nproduct groups)

          • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Audit\nand Quality Assurance experience; technical knowledge of pharmaceuticals/\nmedical devices regarding usage and quality validation
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge\nand expertise in the Indian pharmaceutical industry is essential
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Experience\nand/or knowledge of the humanitarian sector is highly desirable

          • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>MSF\nField experience will be an advantage for this role.
