Job Description\:

You will be responsible for assuring product and workmanship quality across programmes by carrying out inspection, verification, and acceptance activities in line with defined specifications and standards, ensuring consistent quality delivery through the effective application of Quality Control processes while promoting a Zero‑Defect / Right First Time culture across Naval Ships.

Core duties\:

  • You will conduct inspections in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans, standards, specifications, and quality requirements
  • Ensure you complete and verify testing activities, ensuring full compliance with Quality Control processes and documentation
  • Produce accurate inspection reports, maintain records and manage completions data within site systems
  • You will support the maintenance and administration of completions management tools and quality control processes
  • Advocate a Zero Defect/Right First Time culture through effective teamwork and professional conduct

Essential Skills\:

  • Completed a recognised sheet metal apprenticeship (or equivalent trade qualification) with relevant experience and HVAC knowledge
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical standards, specifications, drawings, and processes to programme requirements
  • Sound technical expertise within the discipline, with a focus on quality, compliance, and attention to detail.
