Quality Control (QC) Specialist – Slaughterhouse Production
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Personnel to join our team in the poultry industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure product quality, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
- Conduct inspections and quality checks during poultry processing operations
- Perform physical inspections on live birds upon arrival and processed products for defects, bruising, disease, or remaining feathers
- Carry out routine temperature monitoring of chilling tanks, freezer rooms, and product core temperatures to ensure food safety compliance
- Maintain accurate QC records, documentation, and inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, SOPs, and company quality standards
- Identify, report, and follow up on quality issues or non-conformance cases
- Work closely with production and operations teams to improve product quality
- Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices are followed at all times
- Support internal audits and other ad-hoc duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Experience in QA/QC or food manufacturing industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP practices
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a cold room / processing environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures carefully
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, SFA requirements)
- Experience in poultry or meat processing industry will be an advantage
