Quality Engineering & Program Manager

Argon STArgon ST, A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is looking for a Senior Quality Manager to join the team located in Fairfax, VA and Herndon, VA.
This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Intelligence Systems (IS) within the BDS Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) division and work onsite at both of our Northern Virginia offices.
This position is a key member of the ArgonST leadership team, directly interfaces with senior leadership across various programs, subsidiaries and functions. This leader will promote partnering cross-functionally, enable problem solving and risk mitigation, quality management system oversight and compliance and timely problem resolution with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) customer.

The ideal candidate has the ability to communicate at an executive level with internal stakeholders and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) customer. Strong demonstration of data driven analytics and proactive solution implementation is desired. The candidate will work collaboratively across a variety of functions and levels within the organization and customer.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and mid-level managers performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle, including development programs
Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans
Supports the SI&WS IS Senior Manager and members of the IS Program Leadership teams
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility
Partners cross functionally to develop and execute BDS Quality strategies and strategies for the program to identify best practices
Ensures and drives total quality / first time quality in every phase of successful program execution
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
5+ years of experience in a management role
5+ years of experience working with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), and/or Navy customer
5+ years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)
5+ years of experience in the application of AS9100
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ year of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Strong communication skills & ability to interface with senior-level executives
Experience leading and influencing diverse, cross-functional teams

Summary pay range: USD $160,650 - $217,350
