Job summary:<\/b> <\/b><\/span>
<\/p>

Leads the overall quality function of the organization, with a focus on achieving targeted results across both in\-plant quality and incoming supplier quality within the manufacturing vertical. This role plays a pivotal part in establishing, implementing, and improving quality systems, controls, and assurance practices in a growing organization.
<\/p>

The position offers a strong platform to introduce industry best practices, drive quality excellence, and build a robust quality culture. The incumbent is empowered to represent the company during domestic and international customer engagements and is entrusted with strategic decision\-making authority in executing quality objectives.

Requirements
<\/div>

Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

1. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Quality System Management<\/span><\/b>
Develop, implement, and manage the company\u2019s Quality Management Systems and Policies in compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 standards.<\/span><\/p>

2. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Manufacturing Feasibility & Product Lifecycle Support<\/span><\/b>
Lead feasibility reviews and align cross\-functional teams from sample development to serial production, ensuring adherence to specifications and achieving 100% quality ratings.<\/span><\/p>

3. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Quality Planning & Process Support<\/span><\/b>
Define quality plans and support the production team in implementing effective checking patterns and measurement techniques. Proactively identify and resolve production impracticalities to avoid delays or quality escapes.<\/span><\/p>

4. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Inspection & Documentation<\/span><\/b>
Perform stage\-wise and final inspections to ensure product compliance with customer requirements. Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation for traceability and audits.<\/span><\/p>

5. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Calibration Control<\/span><\/b>
Monitor and manage the calibration status of instruments to ensure all gauges and tools are within validity and comply with quality standards.<\/span><\/p>

6. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Audit & Compliance Management<\/span><\/b>
Facilitate customer audits and lead internal and supplier audits, ensuring timely closure of non\-conformities and continual compliance with applicable standards.<\/span><\/p>

7. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement<\/span><\/b>
Conduct periodic reviews of quality metrics, perform data\-driven analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem\-solving techniques (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, Root Cause Analysis).<\/span><\/p>

8. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Training & Capability Building
<\/span><\/b>Identify skill gaps and organize training programs to standardize systems, improve performance, and build technical capabilities across the team.<\/span><\/p>

9. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Team Leadership & Development
<\/span><\/b>Lead and motivate the quality team to meet their deliverables while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and skill enrichment.<\/span><\/p>

Education & Experience:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Educational Background:<\/span><\/b> <\/span>Diploma (Polytechnic/NTTF/GTTC) or BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience:<\/span><\/b> <\/span>5\u20136 years of experience in Quality Control and Assurance, preferably in the Aerospace industry or other precision manufacturing environments.<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    • Technical Skills:<\/span><\/b>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      * <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficient in MS Office, QA software, and quality databases<\/span>
      <\/p>

      * <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Skilled in data analysis tools and statistical quality control techniques<\/span>
      <\/p>

      • Soft Skills:<\/span><\/b>
        <\/li><\/ul>

        * <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills<\/span>
        <\/p>

        * <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>International exposure or experience with global quality standards is an advantage<\/span>

        • Preferred Certifications:<\/span><\/b>

          * <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D Internal Auditor<\/span>

          * <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt / Champion) or Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen<\/span>
          <\/p>

          * <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) and proficiency in SPC / 7 QC Tools / RCA/ GD&T<\/span>
