Quality Support Associate (Medical Assistant)

Schedule: Full-Time 40hours/week | Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Department: Chelsea Retirement Community | Chelsea, MI


What You’ll Do:
As the Quality Support Associate, you will provide administrative and clinical support to the Quality Department while helping ensure team member training, education, and compliance records are complete, accurate, and up to date. Working under the supervision of the Director of Quality, you will support Quality Business Partners and assist with department initiatives that help maintain quality standards across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate training, education, certification, and compliance records for new and current team members
  • Track new hire and annual requirements, including TB testing, flu vaccination, CPR certification, annual competencies, and other required training
  • Upload and maintain training, skills, CPR, TB, vaccination, and team member health documentation in ADP and Relias
  • Support the Relias Learning System by creating class schedules, recording attendance, updating team member information, and running compliance reports
  • Coordinate and support training programs, skills classes, med pass classes, meet & greet sessions, CPR classes, and other onboarding initiatives
  • Administer and read TB tests and assist with administering influenza and Hep B vaccines as needed
  • Assist with annual team member and resident flu and TB clinics, including tracking attendance and maintaining documentation
  • Conduct quality rounds on care units to monitor compliance and identify opportunities for education or additional training
  • Assist with COVID-19 testing, vaccine tracking, and required reporting as needed
  • Prepare training materials, communications, reports, and other documentation to support Quality Department initiatives
  • Partner with Quality, HR, department managers, and Business Partners to communicate training or certification needs
  • Support quality improvement initiatives that promote team member education, compliance, and positive resident outcomes

Required Qualifications
  • Must possess at least 1 year of Medical Assistant training
  • Must possess experience with administering vaccinations and TB tests
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job-related travel
Preferred
  • Working knowledge of ADP, Relias, and Point Click Care (PPC)
  • Current CPR certification
