We are seeking a Quality System Engineer to lead system/software advancement for our rapidly expanding Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technology Quality team. The purpose of the role is to drive consistent global system advancement across sites, contributing to quality excellence and ultimately enabling business growth. You will lead IT projects and enjoy driving meaningful impact across international sites.
Job Summary:
As a Quality System Engineer at ACST, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation, governance and continuous improvement of quality systems as a part of the Global Quality Assurance team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across ACST global manufacturing plants
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects focused on quality system enhancement and deployment
- Ensure delivery aligned with scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards
- Coordinate with global IT teams to develop and implement web-based quality applications.
2. Business Engagement & Demand Management
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders (QA, Manufacturing) and IT
- Translate business and customer requirements into scalable IT solutions
3. Digital Solution Development & Automation
- Contribute hands-on to development of automation, data pipelines, and system enhancements
- Build and maintain backend infrastructure and develop user-friendly front-end interfaces
- Deliver dashboards and data visualization solutions (e.g., Power BI, SQL-based analytics)
4. Quality Systems Governance & Compliance
- Ensure systems comply with customer quality requirements, audits, and regulatory standards
- Support validation activities (CSV) and maintain proper system documentation
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of applications in manufacturing environments
5. Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Drive global template and standard quality process adoption across sites
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements using digital and automation tools
- Support Lean / Six Sigma-based continuous improvement initiatives
6. Global Collaboration & Deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across USA, Taiwan, China, and Korea
- Support multi-site rollouts and ensure alignment with global IT architecture
- Deliver high-impact solutions that can scale across regions
7. Change Management & Adoption
- Lead user adoption strategies, including training and communication plans
- Manage change impacts across sites and functions
- Ensure sustainable usage of deployed systems
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- At least 3 years of proven experience leading IT projects (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Strong experience in data analytics and SQL
- Proven experience as an IT Project Lead / Digital Lead
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, automation, or similar tools
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in global teams
- Willingness to travel internationally
Preferred
- Experience with SAP (QM/MM/PP modules preferred)
- Understanding of system validation (CSV) and regulated environments
- Experience with Power Platform, MES, LIMS, or Quality Management Systems
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks
- Experience in global/multi-site project environments
