Quantity Surveryor

Job Description

• Prepare tender cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets based on drawings and tender documents.
• Estimate material, labour, and subcontractor costs for projects.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support the project team to ensure client requirements and project objectives are met.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Prepare monthly progress valuations and forecast final project costs.
• Review and assess subcontractor tenders, contracts, claims, and final accounts.
• Certify subcontractor monthly valuations and payments.
• Track labour, material, and subcontractor costs and provide regular cost reports.
• Prepare and submit commercial and financial reports to management for review.
• Ensure accurate cost control and commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in electrical construction industry.
• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering / Quantity Surveying or relevant field.
