Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Construction
• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Bukit Merah
• Working Hours: 5-days (Mon-Fri: 8.30am-5.45pm)
• Salary Package: Basic $3,700 – $5,500 + AWS + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Handle tender administration.
• Gather and prepare information and documents required for tender submissions.
• Prepare bills of quantities, including quantity take-off and sourcing of materials.
• Obtain, compile, and review quotations from subcontractors and suppliers based on tender requirements, and follow up to ensure timely submission.
• Handle contract administration.
• Source and negotiate terms and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers according to project requirements and schedules.
• Prepare Letters of Award and work orders.
• Prepare interim progress claims, Variation Orders, and final accounts for clients.
• Review and certify interim progress claims and final accounts for subcontractor payments.

• Qualification in a construction-related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
• Good knowledge of contracts and contract administration.
• Careful and detail-oriented.
• Good organisational skills and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to coordinate and communicate with the project team.
