Roles & Responsibilities

Quantity Surveyor (ACMV)

· Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and budgets for construction projects.

· Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.

· Monitor project costs and track variations to ensure the project stays within budget.

· Conduct site measurements and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.

· Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants oncost-related issues.

. Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

· Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing claims.

· Oversee all cost control activities across multiple projects.

· Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.

· Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and potential risks to senior management.

. Request quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers including negotiation with them
. Prepare sub-contractor contracts
. In charge of contract requirements
. Prepare project billings and report monthly
. Prepare Variation Orders
. Preparing take-off quantity
. Prepare material submission and other necessary documents.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Mechanical;
  • Preferably with min. 3 years experience in managing ACMV tender/quotation;
  • Goods costing knowledge and committed;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Confident & able to work under pressure;
  • 5.5 days work week
