Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

  • Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for construction projects, from initial calculations to final accounts.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, and negotiate where necessary.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for projects and tender submissions.
  • Review and interpret C&S, Architectural, and M&E drawings.
  • Prepare contract documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Assess payments and variation works for clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors, and monitor the progress of main and sub-contract works.
  • Track project progress and handle the measurement and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of both civil and architectural works is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in building, HDB, or condominium projects, or projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature, will be an advantage.
