Quantity Surveyor (Cost Management)
- Prepare and maintain monthly cost reports, analyse cost variances, and provide proper substantiation for deviations against budget and projections.
- Monitor project costs and forecast potential cost impacts based on project requirements and progress.
- Review and ensure proper allocation of project costs and payments to the relevant work items and cost codes.
- Coordinate with site teams on monthly cost closing and verify project expenditures.
- Monitor and control site expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Call quotations, prepare tender comparison sheets, and assist in evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals.
- Take off quantities from drawings manually or using suitable measurement software and prepare quantity computations.
- Track and evaluate variation orders, including assessment of cost implications and profitability.
- Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and settlement of subcontractor final accounts.
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on cost-related matters to support effective project delivery.
