Quantity Surveyor (Cost Management)

  1. Prepare and maintain monthly cost reports, analyse cost variances, and provide proper substantiation for deviations against budget and projections.
  2. Monitor project costs and forecast potential cost impacts based on project requirements and progress.
  3. Review and ensure proper allocation of project costs and payments to the relevant work items and cost codes.
  4. Coordinate with site teams on monthly cost closing and verify project expenditures.
  5. Monitor and control site expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  6. Call quotations, prepare tender comparison sheets, and assist in evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals.
  7. Take off quantities from drawings manually or using suitable measurement software and prepare quantity computations.
  8. Track and evaluate variation orders, including assessment of cost implications and profitability.
  9. Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and settlement of subcontractor final accounts.
  10. Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on cost-related matters to support effective project delivery.
