Quantity Surveyor
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-contract functions involving estimation of project costs, cost planning and control, preparation of tender documents, value engineering exercise, contract documentation and other pre-contract related activities.
- Post-contract functions involving progress payment valuation and recommendation, valuation of variations, settlement of variation claims with contractors, settlement of final account and otherpost-contract related activities.
- Providing contractual advice and contractual claims management.
- Assist architectural department prepare tender for design services including commercial and technical proposals.
- Assist architectural department to prepare tender/quotation for invitation of specialist consultancy services.
- Projects and duties assigned will be for overseas projects outside of Singapore.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Division.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent from are recognized University.
- Possess 3 to 5years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying and contracts management.
- Proficient in architectural and engineering services agreement, standard conditions of contract for construction works such as FIDIC, PSSCOC, SIA COC.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, able to draft contracts and tender responses and engage in discussions involving contract terms & conditions.
- Strong planning, organisational and supervision skills.
- Able to travel overseas for work trips at short notice.
