Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and produce progress reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage contracts and procurement, including negotiating with contractors and suppliers to ensure value for money.
- Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and cost value reconciliations to maintain project efficiency.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, site managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth execution.
- Carry out any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a related construction/cost management role.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor or construction industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
