Quantity Surveyor (Interior fit-out)
Job Description:
- Prepare tender documents, cost estimations, and pricing submissions for tender exercises.
- Participate in tender interviews and support project presentations when required.
- Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets to ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle Request for Variation Orders (RVO) and evaluate related cost implications.
- Prepare and process progress claims, subcontractor claims, and final accounts.
- Source materials and services, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, and manage the procurement and tendering process.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents for quantity take-off and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on all cost-related matters to ensure smooth project execution.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related disciplines.
- Graduates from QS, Engineering, or Architecture backgrounds are preferred, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings effectively.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in both pre-tender and post-tender project management is required.
- Familiarity and practical experience with Bluebeam software will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost-related documentation.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
