Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities and cost estimates from design drawings and specifications.

• Assist in the preparation, coordination, and submission of tender documents.

• Analyse tender requirements and identify potential risks or cost implications.

• Liaise with internal teams (engineering, procurement) and external subcontractors/suppliers to obtain quotations and technical inputs.

• Evaluate and compare tender submissions to assist in bid strategy and decision-making.

• Maintain tender databases, track progress, and update management regularly.

• Support contract negotiation and clarify tender queries.

• Ensure all tender submissions comply with client requirements and contractual standards.

• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization during tender preparation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.

• 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on tendering in construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of measurement, estimating, and tendering procedures.

• Proficient with QS software and MS Office.

• Good understanding of contract types and procurement processes.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.
