Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in post-contract cost control and commercial administration for construction projects.

  • Prepare and process progress claims, subcontractor claims, and supplier payments.

  • Assist in monitoring project budgets, cost tracking, and project expenditures.

  • Prepare and submit Variation Orders (VOs) and maintain proper supporting records and documentation.

  • Carry out quantity take-offs and measurement works based on drawings and site requirements.

  • Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender and contract documents.

  • Maintain proper records of contracts, claims, variations, and project costs.

  • Liaise and coordinate with project managers, engineers, site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers on cost and contractual matters.

  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts and cost reports.

  • Attend site meetings and carry out site measurements when required.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the building construction industry in Singapore.

  • Experience in subcontractor projects and building works is required.

  • Basic knowledge of contract administration and construction costing.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.
