Job Description

• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Central (Office & Site Based)
• Working Hours: 5 Days/ 5.5 Days, 44hrs per week
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Allowances + AWS + Variable bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in tender submissions by preparing quantity calculations, budget estimates, and purchasing-related activities.
• Obtain and assess pricing proposals from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Carry out quantity measurements and cost evaluations, including progress billings, variation orders, and account settlements.
• Draft subcontract documentation, verify payment claims, and maintain commercial and contractual records.
• Support the preparation of payment submissions, contract-related correspondence, and claim-related documents.
• Track project expenditures, subcontractor commitments, and overall cost performance.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual and commercial issues.

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within MRT, deep foundation, underground works, geotechnical engineering, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of quantity measurement, subcontract management, progress payments, variation claims, and final account preparation.
• Exposure to tendering processes and procurement functions is an added advantage.
• Prior involvement in LTA projects is preferred
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
