QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description

• Work closely with Technical Engineer, competent to interpret specifications and contract documents
• Prepare tender submissions, variation orders, progress payments & claims and finalization of accounts
• Monitor and evaluate progress payments
• Ensure effective cost planning, controlling and budgeting
• Review and advise cost impact for variation of project specifications
• Analysing and negotiating cost with customers and subcontractors
• Monitor project delivery to ensure materials are in accordance to contractual terms and conditions
• Liaise with customers and subcontractors on all costing matters
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Min. 3 year of experiences in Aluminium / Construction / Architectural or relevant industry
• Min. Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Architectural / Building & Construction / any other relevance qualification
• Able to interpret drawing is an added advantage
• Strong sense of accountability and ability to quickly prioritize tasks based on urgency in a fast paced environment
• An eye for detail and cost conscious
• Excellence analytical, communication, organizing and interpersonal skills
• Independent but also a team player
