Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

  • Assist in preparation of tender submission;
  • Responsible for measurement of quantities & cost estimation;
  • Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive the tender pricing;
  • Study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities;
  • Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative on claims and variation costs;
  • Prepare budget statement monthly and review by Superior;
  • Review and verify the Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from relevant parties
  • To maintain the Quality System in the Department;
  • Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior / Management deem fit.

Job Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities on projects;
  • MRT/LTA tendering experience is preferred;
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Good negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Resourceful, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
