Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.

* Take off quantities from drawings and specifications.

* Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

* Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.

* Evaluate subcontractor claims and payment recommendations.

* Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.

* Review contracts, tender documents, and project requirements.

* Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Main Contractors, Consultants, and Suppliers.

* Track project progress and maintain proper cost records.

* Assist in procurement and material cost analysis.

Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

* Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry.

* Experience in Interior Fit-Out, Ceiling, Partition, Renovation, or A&A works is preferred.

* Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF software.

* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

* Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.

* Knowledge of Singapore construction practices is an advantage.
