Role Overview:
You will define the architecture of next-generation superconducting quantum processors, balancing performance, scalability, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design qubit and processor-level architectures
- Define coupling, control, and readout strategies
- Analyze tradeoffs between coherence, connectivity, and control complexity - Work closely with fabrication, control, and calibration teams
- Guide hardware roadmap decisions
Qualifications:
- PhD or significant experience in quantum hardware or superconducting circuits
- Strong understanding of transmon-based architectures or related platforms
- Experience with system-level design and tradeoff analysis
