R&D Engineering Assistant (1 yr contract - Suitable for part-time EEE students)

Our client is a leading American brand name in the field of consumer electronics, with more than 100 years in existence and more than 2,000 employees globally. We have an immediate opening for a 1 year contract position of:

R&D Engineering Assistant

(1 year contract)

Responsibilities

· Supporting Engineers in Singapore’s Development centre to build and support prototypes, test fixtures and development setups internally and with external vendors.

· Conduct testing and validation of new products, prototypes, and engineering concepts.

· Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and technical documentation.

· Manage procurement of laboratory equipment, tools, and consumables required for developmentactivities.

· Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

· Diploma or ITE qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

· Hands-on experience in mechanical fixture design, PCB CAD design, or prototype development.

· Practical skills in soldering and working with electronic/mechatronic assemblies.

· Experience coordinating with vendors for prototype fabrication, PCB assembly, or test setupdevelopment.

· Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance, purchasing activities, and product testing; experience in spot welding, battery products, or mechatronics testing is anadvantage.

· Working hours: 8:30am to5:30pm

· 1 month contract completion bonus
