Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Operation of Radiology Equipment
  • Operates Radiographic, Tomographic, Fluoroscopic and mobile Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment. Sets technical factors and follows established protocols to produce diagnostic images.
  • Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner
  • Wears radiation dosimetry badge at collar and follows radiation protection standards.
  • Operates processing, day-light loading and duplication equipment. Transmits digital images to the laser camera for filming. Reports equipment problems in an efficient manner.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
  • American Registry Of Rad Techs (CT ARRT)
  • Radiologic Health Flouroscopy (RG RHT)
  • Radiology Technologist (CT RTT)
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association (AHA BLS) required

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred CRT
